WHAT BRINGS THE MOST PEACE, FREEDOM & ENJOYMENT TO A SOCIETY?
It isn’t politics! While politics is a necessary and useful tool, it isn’t everything—like today!
It doesn’t define everything, like today! Political party (partisan politics) cannot explain everything!
Fair, just laws that are applied fairly are required. The claim is that the ones that we have aren’t so is totally not true. There are individuals who act unfairly, unjustly and criminally but it isn’t all of us!
In human societies, there is no such thing as absolute perfection in our laws or actions. It is a worthy goal, but perfection cannot last if it is ever achieved. Humans are too inconsistent and impulsive for perfection to happen. There will always be someone who steals or murders ! It is a sad but realistic observation! Laws are developed to answer this human truth!
Laws that are fair and just must apply to everyone. They must be based on a higher standard than what is reasonable to an elite few. Laws must be sensible, reasonable and understandable.
America’s laws were originally based on these precepts:
Love GOD, love one another
The Ten Commandments
The Golden Rule
Our laws were also based in more than two millennia of study and writings of thinkers. This is the real history that can be known. We hear none of this today. Is this deep tradition being destroyed for some reason? I think that such is the case! There is no good reason for us to accept this. Most of this has gone awry in the Twentieth Century, the 1900’s, and got worse!
Politics alone, without any other limiting or controlling factors, takes our societies into wars and corruption. Politics too often devolves into grasping too much power! That natural action must be controlled! The American System of Government was designed to control it as much as is possible with humans—but not perfectly.
What is necessary also is the Judeo-Christian ethic and freedom of opportunity. These necessary views inform our laws. Laws reflect a belief system’s morality. Morality is what a society views as good and bad! All this is what once informed our business and courts! We all want to leave that? I don’t think so!
What has gone wrong is America is leftists gaining control of our information institutions, specifically our news and entertainment media and education systems. What we are seeing and hearing today is not truth! It is not promoting peace or freedom. It is anti-opportunity for all.
We must totally question everything today! Most of our issues are destructive of our American institutions! Why should that be so? They can always be reformed for truth and real problems!
This truth also applies to our political parties who desperately need some good Americans to run for office! We do see those people becoming candidates! We must support them with our finances and votes. This is not a one issue or one-party problem. It is not also a one generation problem. It took about three generations to get this bad. It will take more than one vote to fix it!
GET BUSY, AMERICA!
This is one of my meditations and themes for the last several years. It is like a unfathomable, universe-wide subject. This is a good starting discussion of this subject. It is packed with meaning.
Humans are made in GOD’s Image and HIS likeness.
That Image in humans is this: our individual spirit & attributes.
The reason is so that we can relate to HIM. Our excuse that GOD isn’t human and a figment of our imagination is totally destroyed by Jesus. Freedom is in this discussion.
GOD created humans to be able to relate to HIM. Jesus came to be our individual, sinless Lamb of sacrifice. He will come again as the Messiah that the Jews are expecting but it will be to return believers (all those who have chosen to believe forever) to the Eden relationship with GOD. {The Biblical book of Leviticus is what perfect obedience would look like.

While it is humanly impossible for humans to be totally good, we always can do much better than we have been doing if we individually want to do so! There is no concept that humans can totally achieve in this life. This applies individually, in groups or collectively.
The pathologies of today’s culture are apparent. However, they are called benefits & loudly proclaimed. They must be clearly seen as dangerous & wrong to our once-free country!
They are deliberately destroying Christianity, our country, our families, our individual personhood & our individual freedoms. Does this seem to be too extreme a statement?
Our media are calling evil “good” & good “evil”. Should that be totally right & silently allowed? Free speech & opinions must not live there? Freedom of speech is not absolute. This severe problem should be curtailed & limited within the proper bounds & situations!
Is it possible or allowed to seek those limits that do not destroy freedom of speech itself?

I do not support ANY, ANY political personality cults!!!! Left, Right, middle, it doesn’t matter! If you take the political part out, it is still so! Is this clear enough? I don’t support cultish “groupyism”!
My expectation is that any American who wishes to serve America in a political office would speak and act in support of our cherished American principles that are reflected in the best writings of our founders and all sensible people since then!
I am disgusted by the pragmatic politics and the excessive partisanship that the media love, especially for Democrats, it seems. I am disgusted with the pro-to-total leftism in our media. They do not represent thinking, peaceful citizens’ views! Individual humans are all over the belief spectrum with the issues. That is why discussion is necessary!
The people that I enjoy watching and reading at least attempt to tell the truth as they see it and are willing to listen to varying opinions and discuss them! From libertarian to center ...
