Who says what about these words and why?
THE POLITICAL CONTINUUM IS FROM:
NO GOVERNMENT = anarchy, chaos, lawlessness
(TOTAL RIGHT)
—TO—
ABSOLUTE GOVERNMENT = absolute, total dictatorship
(TOTAL LEFT)
AMERICAN GOVERNMENT WAS DESIGNED TO BE “CENTER RIGHT”:
A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC
Our politician-created bureaucracy has taken us very much more to the left than we should be!
This has been increased by both political parties since the early 1900’s, but more from the Democratic Party.
(Notes: Bureaucracies almost always render ineffective and/or destroy any government that develops one! Once created, they seldom are disbanded! They all do mission-creep and constantly cry for more money! Mission creep means that they expand their created mission into wider fields. They trend into expertism and require obedience! For all these reasons, bureaucracies should be limited in scope and short-lived!)
In anarchy there is no law except that of the strongest (and/or meanest)! Total freedom is chaos. Everyone doing what they will only. The frontiers are often places where this type of freedom exists. Someone can do whatever others will let them can get away with! It can be very ugly. Peaceful citizens do not thrive in those fear-filled places.
We have seen, we can see what absolute government is by looking at history. There are too many kings and dictators there for us to claim that we might want that as peaceful citizens!
The Bible is no exception to those stories. Individual human lives mean nothing to such systems of government. The only thing that matters is their own total power!
Governments must limit the criminal actions in our societies but not become part of the problem of being destructive of individual rights! Human governments are not self-limiting. They must be controlled by their citizens. There must be a reasonable rule of law that we can all support for the sake of peace and prosperity! America has gone away from that focus in the favor of more political power for the politicians! Our freedoms are being consumed in that effort! Political parties have a purpose, but it is not in destroying America and our freedoms. Too many party politicians only build their own power and do not care for maintaining our freedoms. They must be voted out of office!
Neither end of the political spectrum is good for humans. They are both terrible and dangerous to life. There is no peace and prosperity on the extreme ends! As we move left and right away from the American System of government, society gets worse. What politicians and media accuse others of doing may be true, or more likely some degree of not true.
What we must understand as American citizens is that power and wealth can, and usually do,
corrupt humans. Centers of political power always cater to corruption. The only way to control the problem is to replace the politicians regularly. Doing right does not totally remove this problem, but it does limit it! The same concern applies to the federal & state bureaucracies!
Don’t ignore the lobbyists! They are often part of the corruption!
Our American founders suffered from a political system in England. They were much more sensitive to important freedoms. They wrongly assumed that we would always be like them in that. America has not suffered like they did until now! We have work to do!
Partisan politics is bad behavior. Total power is not an American goal! It is a severe lust with partisan politicians! Our founders despised that type of politics and politician. We should work against it as they did! Of course, our politicians do not favor any such action! They must be replaced! More regularly! Career politicians almost cannot avoid corruption in any varying degrees!
This is a more nuanced discussion than is here. But these ideas are the starting point on the subject! Understand that when politicians call other politicians names, they are doing “politics”, most of the time and not discussing important issues.
Freedom is the bottom line, not your particular political party!!!
OUR COMMON, GOD-GIVEN FREEDOMS SHOULD OVER-RULE PARTISAN POLITICS!
I cannot say it more emphatically!
This is one of my meditations and themes for the last several years. It is like a unfathomable, universe-wide subject. This is a good starting discussion of this subject. It is packed with meaning.
Humans are made in GOD’s Image and HIS likeness.
That Image in humans is this: our individual spirit & attributes.
The reason is so that we can relate to HIM. Our excuse that GOD isn’t human and a figment of our imagination is totally destroyed by Jesus. Freedom is in this discussion.
GOD created humans to be able to relate to HIM. Jesus came to be our individual, sinless Lamb of sacrifice. He will come again as the Messiah that the Jews are expecting but it will be to return believers (all those who have chosen to believe forever) to the Eden relationship with GOD. {The Biblical book of Leviticus is what perfect obedience would look like.

While it is humanly impossible for humans to be totally good, we always can do much better than we have been doing if we individually want to do so! There is no concept that humans can totally achieve in this life. This applies individually, in groups or collectively.
The pathologies of today’s culture are apparent. However, they are called benefits & loudly proclaimed. They must be clearly seen as dangerous & wrong to our once-free country!
They are deliberately destroying Christianity, our country, our families, our individual personhood & our individual freedoms. Does this seem to be too extreme a statement?
Our media are calling evil “good” & good “evil”. Should that be totally right & silently allowed? Free speech & opinions must not live there? Freedom of speech is not absolute. This severe problem should be curtailed & limited within the proper bounds & situations!
Is it possible or allowed to seek those limits that do not destroy freedom of speech itself?

I do not support ANY, ANY political personality cults!!!! Left, Right, middle, it doesn’t matter! If you take the political part out, it is still so! Is this clear enough? I don’t support cultish “groupyism”!
My expectation is that any American who wishes to serve America in a political office would speak and act in support of our cherished American principles that are reflected in the best writings of our founders and all sensible people since then!
I am disgusted by the pragmatic politics and the excessive partisanship that the media love, especially for Democrats, it seems. I am disgusted with the pro-to-total leftism in our media. They do not represent thinking, peaceful citizens’ views! Individual humans are all over the belief spectrum with the issues. That is why discussion is necessary!
The people that I enjoy watching and reading at least attempt to tell the truth as they see it and are willing to listen to varying opinions and discuss them! From libertarian to center ...
