Warp, Perversion & Destruction As Progress
Progress is supposedly moving toward a certain goal. All of us may think that we know what progress may be. When experts use it today, it has a hidden agenda that most of us cannot support. Their progress is toward a total administrative state. All that was America and Christian will be swept away. Elitist, supposedly more wise experts in all fields of human knowledge, endeavor and skill will rule the rest of us in the whole world. That is their progress: the continuous human dream of total, god-like power. The ancient word is “idolatry!”
If this progress is so good, why must the goals be hidden?
Why must the meanings of words not mean what they once meant?
While some humans become addicted to political power, many of us just want our own way and our own say in our lives. It’s a matter of scale and opportunity. In our secret soul, all humans have a desire to be the final arbiter of truth. We have a self-centered disobedience that must be seen to be understood. Many humans cannot see this or even look at it! True humility asks the question first of ourselves: is this true of me? If we start looking, we can see the elements in others. But then the most useful observation is of ourselves. Can I bring my self-centered and favored disobedience to the altar?
America needs revival in the church—the Christian Church—and the institutions of our government, top to bottom! Everything that was strong about America has been warped, perverted and destroyed. No human nation has ever been totally good. The best America to date is always a work in progress. There was no perfection to return to! Our history has always been one of questioning the errors and ills of our societies. Monarchy, dictators, religious potentates, monopolies, slavery, wars, the world’s human inhumanity to each other, these situations have always been the scourge of the world.
We must look to a higher authority than mankind for redress of this poor, wretched history! The only authority high enough is one above and beyond it all. That would be GOD and HIS plan for each of us. There is no other authority that is sufficiently wise to adjust this all!
True progress is to seek, discover and attempt to live out GOD’s plan: love GOD, love one another! This is the only progress that does not go directly to the worst of human action and nature! With humans, this plan is not 100% reachable, achievable and retainable! But it leads to much better outcomes.
Also and importantly, this plan is not automatic; it must be strived for in each generation. This is unattractive to those who want all wealth and power. That is where the warp and perversion come in. We must see, understand and properly control this normal human problem. Power especially too easily becomes its own god. Humans too easily become addicted to power in any form. Without GOD’s help, the problem is what is automatic! When we are not obedient to GOD, the warp, perversion and power seeking go totally out of control. This is what America is suffering today! This is what progress means to those who preach at us all day in our media.
This must be properly seen and properly adjusted, America!
This is one of my meditations and themes for the last several years. It is like a unfathomable, universe-wide subject. This is a good starting discussion of this subject. It is packed with meaning.
Humans are made in GOD’s Image and HIS likeness.
That Image in humans is this: our individual spirit & attributes.
The reason is so that we can relate to HIM. Our excuse that GOD isn’t human and a figment of our imagination is totally destroyed by Jesus. Freedom is in this discussion.
GOD created humans to be able to relate to HIM. Jesus came to be our individual, sinless Lamb of sacrifice. He will come again as the Messiah that the Jews are expecting but it will be to return believers (all those who have chosen to believe forever) to the Eden relationship with GOD. {The Biblical book of Leviticus is what perfect obedience would look like.

While it is humanly impossible for humans to be totally good, we always can do much better than we have been doing if we individually want to do so! There is no concept that humans can totally achieve in this life. This applies individually, in groups or collectively.
The pathologies of today’s culture are apparent. However, they are called benefits & loudly proclaimed. They must be clearly seen as dangerous & wrong to our once-free country!
They are deliberately destroying Christianity, our country, our families, our individual personhood & our individual freedoms. Does this seem to be too extreme a statement?
Our media are calling evil “good” & good “evil”. Should that be totally right & silently allowed? Free speech & opinions must not live there? Freedom of speech is not absolute. This severe problem should be curtailed & limited within the proper bounds & situations!
Is it possible or allowed to seek those limits that do not destroy freedom of speech itself?

I do not support ANY, ANY political personality cults!!!! Left, Right, middle, it doesn’t matter! If you take the political part out, it is still so! Is this clear enough? I don’t support cultish “groupyism”!
My expectation is that any American who wishes to serve America in a political office would speak and act in support of our cherished American principles that are reflected in the best writings of our founders and all sensible people since then!
I am disgusted by the pragmatic politics and the excessive partisanship that the media love, especially for Democrats, it seems. I am disgusted with the pro-to-total leftism in our media. They do not represent thinking, peaceful citizens’ views! Individual humans are all over the belief spectrum with the issues. That is why discussion is necessary!
The people that I enjoy watching and reading at least attempt to tell the truth as they see it and are willing to listen to varying opinions and discuss them! From libertarian to center ...
