Comments on Dave Rubin’s interview with Dennis Prager,
February 22, 2022 (when I watched it)
Truth, a value and focus I hold in common with Dennis Prager and David Rubin. It is infinitely more edifying than any politics! It is a point of gathering for us all. American principles were built on truth. That humans have difficulty maintain an understanding of it is due to our nature. We all want IT all our way, whatever it is!
Another understanding/discernment that we must come to is this: Leftists want chaos to move us closer to their takeover of our nation. That is what the real riots were about that destroyed our cities in part. The dumbest and wisest thing that the police did was to not use riot control on them. I think that was what was expected. In a lawful society, riot control should have happened. They thought they had something like that going with Kyle Rittenhouse.
Dennis used the term evil. I agree with him & have written several pieces about that.
Our GOD, truth to wisdom, personal responsibility, American principles:
these are Americans' rallying points!
These are what peaceful, "non-political" citizens hold in common. Left/right, political party, falsely promoted divisions/groups are not productive or protective of freedom and truth!
TO REPEAT AGAIN, OVER & OVER: chaos and destruction are the Leftists’ moves to cause us to call for their utopian dictator to clean up their deliberate, purposeful messes! No free person wants to go there. We must vote leftists out of office and get them removed from positions of influence! This is your “IMPOSSIBLE MISSION” for the years to come! It has taken 100 years to get here, it may take a couple generations to get back on our rallying points.
[Note—humans never arrive at anyone’s perfection—we won’t arrive at the Leftists’ perfection, either!]
From the 1600’s to the early 1900’s, one of the main reasons that people immigrated to America was freedom of religion, any religion. A secondary reason was the political oppression of their governments, kings and various religions, sometimes Catholic versus Protestant! (This is what the separation of church and state was about.)
In the 20th Century the reasons to leave the countries of their origin has been more about political oppression by totalitarian governments, Nazi, Communist, Fascist and other brutal dictatorships. The only reason that more Americans have not emigrated is because there is a question about where we could go. Some have gone to wilderness places. That isn’t a good option for most people.
Good citizens are called to stand and fight (peacefully and legally) for the founding principles!
It is a confusing and unpopular view, but many more people are understanding the necessity!
We must start cleaning up the Leftists’ messes today! They are not the average “good guys!”
Quit thinking that, it isn’t true!
This is one of my meditations and themes for the last several years. It is like a unfathomable, universe-wide subject. This is a good starting discussion of this subject. It is packed with meaning.
Humans are made in GOD’s Image and HIS likeness.
That Image in humans is this: our individual spirit & attributes.
The reason is so that we can relate to HIM. Our excuse that GOD isn’t human and a figment of our imagination is totally destroyed by Jesus. Freedom is in this discussion.
GOD created humans to be able to relate to HIM. Jesus came to be our individual, sinless Lamb of sacrifice. He will come again as the Messiah that the Jews are expecting but it will be to return believers (all those who have chosen to believe forever) to the Eden relationship with GOD. {The Biblical book of Leviticus is what perfect obedience would look like.

While it is humanly impossible for humans to be totally good, we always can do much better than we have been doing if we individually want to do so! There is no concept that humans can totally achieve in this life. This applies individually, in groups or collectively.
The pathologies of today’s culture are apparent. However, they are called benefits & loudly proclaimed. They must be clearly seen as dangerous & wrong to our once-free country!
They are deliberately destroying Christianity, our country, our families, our individual personhood & our individual freedoms. Does this seem to be too extreme a statement?
Our media are calling evil “good” & good “evil”. Should that be totally right & silently allowed? Free speech & opinions must not live there? Freedom of speech is not absolute. This severe problem should be curtailed & limited within the proper bounds & situations!
Is it possible or allowed to seek those limits that do not destroy freedom of speech itself?

I do not support ANY, ANY political personality cults!!!! Left, Right, middle, it doesn’t matter! If you take the political part out, it is still so! Is this clear enough? I don’t support cultish “groupyism”!
My expectation is that any American who wishes to serve America in a political office would speak and act in support of our cherished American principles that are reflected in the best writings of our founders and all sensible people since then!
I am disgusted by the pragmatic politics and the excessive partisanship that the media love, especially for Democrats, it seems. I am disgusted with the pro-to-total leftism in our media. They do not represent thinking, peaceful citizens’ views! Individual humans are all over the belief spectrum with the issues. That is why discussion is necessary!
The people that I enjoy watching and reading at least attempt to tell the truth as they see it and are willing to listen to varying opinions and discuss them! From libertarian to center ...
