There is no 100% purity and truth in humans, much, much less politicians! Watch out when they may make such a claim or even presumption!
This is especially true with political parties! Humans can at times move toward complete truth and do. Political party doesn’t matter when someone is seeking truth that is understandably true by anyone’s measure.
There is too much political viewpoint in too many issues today. Many of those viewpoints do not pass a critical truth test! An example is crying for the poor but keeping them poor! How about giving opportunity for jobs? Oh, that did happen but then the next administration took it away. Our actions ought to go along with our words, no matter the political party. Some are worse than others.
Personally, I am offended (I know, who cares?) when people use glowingly warm words but then don’t follow through with supporting action. “No fraud, move on.” There is always someone trying to cheat for their own gain. It must be properly limited. Just saying something doesn’t count for anything. It is just rhetoric.
Emotion is not the same as truth where issues are concerned. What is the emotional pitch asking to accomplish? Is it specific or general? Is it calling for freedom and justice but not granting freedom and justice? How about calling for diversity and inclusion while denying them to someone else like Christians, Republicans and/or white citizens, or just the majority???
These are red flags on the rhetoric. Is a party screaming about something? Is it testably true? Is it even allowed to be tested for truth? If we can’t test a view for truth, it may be false. It also may be partially true but false overall. Too many issues today will not pass a truth test that is itself a true question. Many issues today have a 80 to 90% agreement possibility but the required actions do not improve the issues and in fact may make them worse. Such issues like the war on poverty and the war against drugs that made the issues permanent. They made for good rhetoric but didn’t fix the problems.
Any American Party that does not like America as it was founded is an illegitimate one. The founders did not like political parties and bureaucracies. Those are things that destroy the rule of law and freedom despite their rhetoric. Today these are out of control. They are outside of reasonable law and responsibility and only working for total political power. That makes them illegal! They are offending the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. A mostly Leftist media is protecting them when it should be exposing them.
This problem complex will not be fixed from the top, no matter what they may claim. It must be fixed from the bottom. The American voters must remove their power by electing people who understand the problems. That action has been started. More of American voters---you know, live citizens who vote—must become better informed than we are. We know there is a problem, but our information sources are not helping us. There are sources that are showing us who and what is happening and has been happening for a long time. Some are on the internet, some on cable, some are books. We all need a more questioning attitude. True things can stand the examination; false ones won’t do so. If someone questions the questions—watch out for them. They may be the source or helper of error. Some may even be preachers and teachers. If you are offended by any of this, maybe you are part of our problems! Just sayin’!
If we start from some historical documents we can see more clearly. I recommend the Federalist Papers. Those are pamphlets that discussed the Constitution before it was adopted.
There are several versions available. The one I like is THE ORIGINAL ARGUMENT by Glenn Beck and Joshua Charles. It focuses on the various ones of the 85 pamphlets that are more needed today. I have made some files on them that are needing understanding today.
I have shared them with several people. I have bought several complete collections of the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers to compare the views in The Original Argument for accuracy. I was surprised how current the founders’ opinions are!
Another interesting one is THE POLITICAL SERMONS OF THE AMERICAN FOUNDING ERA. I have a copy of that by a current professor at LSU, Ellis Sandoz.
For historical perspective there is not one source more complete than the BIBLE. For human morality discussion and our laws, it is invaluable. Most of our founders were Christians, in spite of what we hear today. The Golden Rule, the Ten Commandments, the actions of societies over 4 millennia, the failure of humans to consistency do right; all law is from someone’s morality. Frank Turek’s LEGISLATING MORALITY is a good book talking about that.
There is plenty good and valid information available if we will only seek it! Too many of our “talking heads” today don’t want us going there. Being a natural human, to me, that is all the more reason to go there!

This is one of my meditations and themes for the last several years. It is like a unfathomable, universe-wide subject. This is a good starting discussion of this subject. It is packed with meaning.
Humans are made in GOD’s Image and HIS likeness.
That Image in humans is this: our individual spirit & attributes.
The reason is so that we can relate to HIM. Our excuse that GOD isn’t human and a figment of our imagination is totally destroyed by Jesus. Freedom is in this discussion.
GOD created humans to be able to relate to HIM. Jesus came to be our individual, sinless Lamb of sacrifice. He will come again as the Messiah that the Jews are expecting but it will be to return believers (all those who have chosen to believe forever) to the Eden relationship with GOD. {The Biblical book of Leviticus is what perfect obedience would look like.

While it is humanly impossible for humans to be totally good, we always can do much better than we have been doing if we individually want to do so! There is no concept that humans can totally achieve in this life. This applies individually, in groups or collectively.
The pathologies of today’s culture are apparent. However, they are called benefits & loudly proclaimed. They must be clearly seen as dangerous & wrong to our once-free country!
They are deliberately destroying Christianity, our country, our families, our individual personhood & our individual freedoms. Does this seem to be too extreme a statement?
Our media are calling evil “good” & good “evil”. Should that be totally right & silently allowed? Free speech & opinions must not live there? Freedom of speech is not absolute. This severe problem should be curtailed & limited within the proper bounds & situations!
Is it possible or allowed to seek those limits that do not destroy freedom of speech itself?

I do not support ANY, ANY political personality cults!!!! Left, Right, middle, it doesn’t matter! If you take the political part out, it is still so! Is this clear enough? I don’t support cultish “groupyism”!
My expectation is that any American who wishes to serve America in a political office would speak and act in support of our cherished American principles that are reflected in the best writings of our founders and all sensible people since then!
I am disgusted by the pragmatic politics and the excessive partisanship that the media love, especially for Democrats, it seems. I am disgusted with the pro-to-total leftism in our media. They do not represent thinking, peaceful citizens’ views! Individual humans are all over the belief spectrum with the issues. That is why discussion is necessary!
The people that I enjoy watching and reading at least attempt to tell the truth as they see it and are willing to listen to varying opinions and discuss them! From libertarian to center ...
